Immersion, innovation and collective intelligence

At Crews, back-to-school isn't just an administrative moment. It's an experience. From their very first week, Bachelor Digital & Tourism, Master Digital & Business and Master Digital & Tourism students were immersed in a full-scale onboarding project, centered around a powerful theme: what is the future of travel with AI?

An educational challenge with multiple objectives

The proposed project had a clear ambition: to help students project themselves into their year while developing concrete skills from the very first days. Over the course of a week, each team had to :

  • Identify travel-related issues,
  • Identify each stage (methodology, reflections and productions)
  • Imagine innovative AI-based solutions,
  • Provide answers to the problem,
  • Divide up the work,
  • And give their vision individually.

It enabled the installation of key reflexes for the year:

  • Work in project teams,
  • Structure your thinking around a real problem,
  • Present a solution clearly and convincingly,
  • And above all: to demonstrate reasoned creativity, within a given timeframe and with tools that are easy to learn.

Supervised by the teaching team, the students discovered the demands of collaborative work and public speaking - while being assessed on their posture, commitment and the quality of their proposals.

Concrete, original projects aligned with market expectations

The students delivered varied, original and often highly relevant proposals. Here's a look at some of the highlights:

  • An IA travel agent to help organize customized trips,
  • Contact lenses to capture travel images and emotions,
  • A BtoB assistant who knows travelers to facilitate customer service and better meet customer needs, while reducing the professional's mental workload.

A week to get to know each other, to dare, to get organized... and to reveal yourself.

As well as producing the deliverables, this project was an opportunity to create the first class dynamics. In just a few days, the students :

  • Get to grips with collaborative work tools (Slides, Slack, Notion, etc.).
  • Define team roles (UX designer, project manager, project manager...)
  • Learn how to pitch a project clearly and effectively
  • Received their first constructive feedback on their posture and their ability to work in groups

This immersive experience also enabled them to discover Crews values in action: agility, high standards, adaptability and curiosity.

A successful launch, a promising promo

This onboarding seminar was a demanding introduction to the months ahead at Crews: concrete, collective and challenging. The students were able to gain confidence, test their ideas and gauge the expectations of the teaching team.
